Solar Plate Workshop

Open Bite member Jill Kelly has sent this news item in, always of interest to other members, we like to know what each other is up to.

Jill writes:”I’ve just been to a solarplate printmaking workshop run by Susan Baran at Gallery Lane Cove + Centrehouse. On the first day we had lots of lovely sunshine, but the second day was very cloudy, so we used a blacklight exposure device, which was an interesting variation for me.

During the workshop we explored various ways of creating imagery, including drawings and objects as well as photographs. This print is from one of my photographs.
