New Solo Exhibition for member Sue Hanckel

Sue Hanckel has a solo exhibition that opens Friday 1st November at Balmain Watch House. Her recent works have their origin in her travel diaries - gouache paintings, oil pastels and cloud drawings created en plain air in the Mediterranean and the Australian outback. Back in her Balmain studio, these singular fleeting moments have been re-imagined in collaged prints, altered books and stitched cyanotypes.
